Guest Lecture on "Neuromuscular monitoring- TRENDS IN TOF"
The Department of Anaesthesiology, in
association with ISA Mangalore, conducted a Guest Lecture on "Neuromuscular
monitoring- TRENDS IN TOF" on 24TH February 2024 at Conference Hall,
Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore.
Around 85 members, including delegates, resource persons, staff and post-graduates from various colleges of Mangalore, participated in the event.
The session included a talk on Neuromuscular monitoring basics and recent advances. The resource person was Dr. Thrivikrama P. Tantry, Professor and HOD, A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore.
The
session was presided over by Dr. Kishan Shetty, Professor & HOD of Dept. of Anaesthesiology,
and Professor Dr. Prithi Jain. The Organizing Secretary was Dr. Nandita Tauro, Senior
Resident, Department of Anaesthesiology.
The
Guest lecture by Dr Thrivikrama P. Tantry was extensive and informative
about the basics of Neuromuscular monitoring and its components. It included
clinical examples and demonstration videos.
The
event concluded with a felicitation of the Guest speaker by Dr Kishan Shetty,
Head of the Department of Anaesthesiology and President, ISA Mangalore.
