Doctors’ Day Celebration – 2018
Doctors’ day celebration was organised by clinical
society of Father Muller Medical College on 3rd July 2018 at
Hospital conference hall from 3:30 pm to 5pm.
Dr Jacob Chacko, Senior orthopaedic consultant and
Ex Professor and HOD of Orthopaedics of Father Muller Medical College Hospital
was felicitated during the event.
Rev. Fr Rudolph Ravi D’Sa, Administrator of Father
Muller Medical College Hospital presided over the function.
Dr Padmaja Udaykumar, Vice Dean of Father Muller
Medical College welcomed the gathering and also conveyed the importance of
observing doctors’ day.
Dr Jacob Chacko shared his experience on serving the
institution and also gave message to budding doctors on how to deal with and
prevent the issue of tackling violence in health care establishments.
Dr Sudhir Prabhu, Secretary of clinical society
delivered the vote of thanks.
Dr Sowmya Bhat, Assistant Professor in Community
Medicine compered the event.
Dr Saurabh Kumar, President of clinical society, Rev
Fr Jeevan Sequeira, Assistant Administrator of Father Muller Medical College Hospital,
Head of the departments, unit heads, staff, post graduates and interns of
Father Muller Medical College were present for the program.
A short skit on prevention of violence against
doctors was also enacted by 3rd MBBS students of Father Muller
Medical College during the event.
