The students of II year GNM
as a part of their Medical Surgical Nursing conducted a mass health education
on 19th June 2019 at 11.00 am in ‘S’ ward on the topic “Dengueâ€. The
programme commenced with a prayer song. The welcome speech was given by Ms Dailin
D’souza followed by which a role play on the topic was performed.
The students explained
about the causes, signs and symptoms and management of Malaria and also the
complications and prevention using various A.V aids. Students explained in
Kannada and Malayalam. The inmates and patient’s of ‘V’ ward were present. Mrs
Jasmine Sarita Vas, Principal Father Muller School of Nursing along with the
faculty and ward in charge’s graced the occasion. Vote of thanks was given by
Ms Lekhashree. The programme came to an end at 11.45 am. Ms Dailin D’souza compered
the program. Around 45 patients were benefitted out of it.
