WORLD POLIO DAY ROAD RALLY BY NURSES OF FATHER MULLER’S
On the occasion of World Polio Day on
24th of October the Rotary club (RI District 3181 zone 2 and zone 3
clubs) arranged a road rally in which Father Muller School Of Nursing 3rd year GNM students
took role as participants.
The rally began at 8.00am flagged off by the Rotary Chairman Dr Norman Mendonsa. The Wenlock Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Rajeshwari Devi addressed the crowd emphasizing the importance of vaccination of polio for its eradication. District Health Officer of Mangalore Dr M Ramakrishna Rao was also present. The road rally started from Wenlock Hospital to D.C office. The rally ended up by 9.30 am with refreshments for the participants.
