Mass Health Education programme by FMSON
The students of II year
GNM as a part of their Child Health Nursing Practicals conducted a mass health
education on 12th November 2019 at 11.00 am in ‘K’ ward in FMMCH on
“Prevention of Worm Infestationâ€. The programme commenced with a prayer song.
The welcome speech was given by Ms Preethi C.
followed by a role play.
The students explained about the causes, phases of worm infestation, sign and symptoms and management of worm infestation using various A.V aids. The inmates and patient’s of ‘K’ ward were present. Mrs Jasmine Sarita Vas, Principal Father Muller School of Nursing along with the faculty and ward in charge’s graced the occasion. Play was performed in Kannada. Vote of thanks was given by Ms Lavita Correa. The Programme came to an end at 12.00 pm. Ms Nischitha D’Souza compered the program. Around 20 patients were benefited out of it.
