MASS HEALTH EDUCATION ON CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE
The students of II year GNM, as a part of their Medical-Surgical Nursing Practical, conducted a mass health education on January 8, 2020 at 11.00 am in ‘V’ ward on Chronic Kidney Disease. The programme commenced with a prayer song. The welcome speech was given by Ms Preema Mathias followed by a role play.
The students explained the causes, phases, signs and symptoms and management of Chronic Kidney Disease using various audiovisual aids. The inmates and patients of the ‘V’ ward were present. Subject Co-ordinator along with the faculty of Father Muller School of Nursing and ward-in-charges graced the occasion. The play was performed in Kannada and Malayalam.
Ms Rashmitha gave the vote of thanks. The Programme came to an end at noon. Ms Preethi C. compeered the program. Around 30 patients were benefited out of it.
