GNM COURSE INAUGURATION

      The Inauguration of 60th batch of General Nursing and Midwifery Course was held on 13th September 2017 at 10.00 a.m. in the Rajath Bhavan. The program began with a prayer song by  GNM students.


       Mrs Jasmine Sarita Vas, Principal, Father Muller School of Nursing,     welcomed the gathering. Dr Padmaja Udaykumar, Professor & HOD of Pharmacology & Vice Dean of FMMC was the Chief Guest.   Rev. Fr Richard A. Coelho the Director of FMCI  presided over the function.

 

         Mrs Nathalia Martis, Assistant Lecturer of FMSON introduced the Chief Guest. The chief guest said “Hospital is considered as the temple of God, Nursing is a noble profession, even the Doctors are dependent on the nurses.  Money is not everything, adapt the motto of institution to be satisfied in life". Sr Briska Ezhilarasi shared the experience of 1st year GNM life.

       In his presidential address the Director said "Nurses are the backbone of the Hospital, learn to take the risk, do not get diverted from your studies".


    Mrs Sophia Molly Vas, the class co-ordinator of 1st year GNM proposed the vote of thanks. Refreshments were served to the gathering. Ms Rahiman Jameena and Ms Laveena D'Mello compered the program.
