Workshop on OBESITY AWARENESS
On Oct 23, 2024, Medical and Surgical Nursing department of Father Muller College of Nursing has conducted half day workshop on 'OBESITY AWARENESS" at RAJATH BHAVANbetween 8.30am-12.30pm Towards world obesity day. The workshop was delivered by faculty of Father Muller College of Physiotherapy .Ms Leah Mohadas ,MsGattyAiswaryaPrabhakar began the session discussing on the issues of obesity and ways to overcome it. Following the session students had 5 different stationsmeasuring hip waist ration, oxygen consumption capacity ,BMI ,bioelectrical impedance analysis and skinfold thickness calibre, Mr Jaya P, Ms Sheethal Vivek Pai, Ms Christy Tomy, Ms Nikitha, Mr Nishanth were handling the stations by 12.30pm, students participated had participated actively and worked on their strength's to identify their endurance ,the programme winded with the college anthem and vote of thanks.
