Telephone Exchange & Reception Department

Telephone Exchange is the main junction where all outside and inside calls are answered and connected to particular extensions and persons concerned. Round the clock service is given by the Staff under the system of rotation. Over 2000 calls are handled per day.

The Reception is the first point where the patients enter. Every staff of the Reception tries to provide accurate and satisfactory information about the hospital to the visitors. The staff at the Reception interact with the patients and their family members and guide them to the proper sections and procedures. They assist the patients to fill up the registration forms and direct them to the registration counter. They receive a number of enquiry calls and every caller is provided with proper and accurate information.

The Reception staff helps the patient’s relatives to locate where the patients are admitted. They also keep the patients and the public informed about the various health care schemes available in the Hospital. They play the major role in creating awareness about the benefits available in Father Muller Health Card.
