Mock drill activity at Old airport, Bajpe
Team of Doctors and Nurses from Department of
Community Medicine, Father Muller Salvadore Monteiro Rural Health training
centre, Bajpe participated in Mock drill activity at Old airport, Bajpe which
was in association with Airport authority of India (AAI) , Central Industrial
Security force (CISF) and District health administration, Dakshina Kannada
district on 18th October 2024.

The
mock drill was conducted aimed at preparing participants for emergency
situations for mass casualty incidents due to flight disasters. The drill
simulated various scenarios to test response times, coordination among team
members, and overall preparedness.
The mock drill was a successful exercise that provided all participants with practical insights into emergency preparedness. It reinforced the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and readiness to act in real-life situations.
