GUEST LECTURE AND HANDS-ON TRAINING: PERCUTANEOUS TRACHEOSTOMY

lecture was conducted by Department of Anesthesiology Father Muller
Medical College, in collaboration with the Indian Society of Anesthesiologists (ISA), Mangalore and Helmier pvt.ltd. On 26/10/2024
at 3pm,in the department classroom of Anesthesiology, Father Muller Hospital. Resource faculty
was Dr.Manoj kumar,Assistant Professor,Critical
care Medicine,Father Muller Medical College. Delivered a comprehensive session
on Percutaneous Tracheostomy which included common indications, steps to
perform the procedure. Demonstration video of the same was shown.
The final segment of the program was a hands-on session
for all the participants. They practiced Percutaneous Tracheostomy techniques on mannequins. Total
of 50 participants including post graduates from nearby medical college
attended.
Overall, the program was highly successful, providing
valuable learning experiences for the participants. The event was
well-received, with the attendees expressing their appreciation for the
informative and practical sessions.
