REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATED THUMBAY CAMPUS
Father Muller Hospital Thumbay,&FMNCT units of FMCI celebrated the 75th Republic Day on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 08:30am. Rev. Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator,Dr Kiran Shetty, Medical Superintendent, Doctors, Staff and Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay students and Patient's relatives of patients were assembled in the hospital premises for the flag hoisting ceremony, which started with prayer song led by nursing students.
The Chief Guest was Dr. Sr Judy, (SIC) Principal, Father Muller Nursing College, Thumbay. Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator welcomed the Chief Guest and introduced her to the gathering.
Dr. Sr Judy, (SIC) Principal, Father Muller Nursing College, Thumbay hoisted the National Flag and gave the message on the occasion. Addressing the gathering she said "Republic day is not merely a day of festivity but a day to reflect upon the principles that guide our democratic fabric. As we unfurl the tricolour flag, let us be reminded of the countless sacrifices made by our great leaders to secure for us the freedom we cherish today. May the spirit of Republic day inspires us all contribute towards the growth and development of our beloved nation. She ended by wishing everyone a very Happy Republic Day".
The programme concluded with the patriotic song sung by nursing students. Mrs. Thriveni M was MC for the programme. On this occasion sweets were distributed to the gathering.
