PTS MEETING OF III & IV BHMS HELD ON 06.07.2019
The
PTS meeting of III and IV BHMS (Supple) students was held on 06.07.2019,
Saturday at the College Auditorium, FMHMC.
The
programme commenced at 10 A.M with a prayer song. This was followed by the
welcome address by the chief mentor of, III BHMS Dr Ranjan Britto.
This
was followed by the inaugural programme by lighting of the lamp by the
Administrator Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta, Prinicpal Dr Shivaprasad K, Vice
Principal Dr ESJ Prabhu Kiran, PTS Cordinator Dr Sheena salin, Chief Mentors of
III and IV BHMS, Dr Ranjan Britto and Dr Sajan K.R, class representatives Mr
Sudheer and Miss Anika Mrs Usha parent of Miss Aishwarya Lakshmi and Mr
Meenakshi Sundaram parent of Miss Meenakshi of III and IV BHMS respectively.
This
was followed by the Annual Academic Report for the year 2018-19, by the vice
Principal Dr ESJ Prabhu Kiran. He briefed the gathering about the University
exam results, toppers in the first and second sessional exams, the various
college activities and also laid an emphasis on research and also about the
various activities of the college and the ample opportunities that the student
has in the college for the all round personality growth and development.
Dr
Shivaprasad K the principal then addressed the gathering wherein he spoke
of the discipline to be followed and also the various rules and regulations to
be followed and implemented by the students which are set apart for the well
being of the students in specific and the college and institution in general.
The
Presidential address was given by the Administrator Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta. He
thanked the parents and the guardians for attending the meeting in large numbers
and appreciated the parent’s involvement in student’s performance. He
called upon the students to become efficient, skilled and confidant doctors and
in order to achieve this he said that they have to be motivated and hard
working.
He
also conveyed that the management would provide all the resources and
facilities required for the students all round performance.
Dr
Shivaprasad K then answered the queries from the parents after which the vote
of thanks was proposed by Dr Sajan K.R.the chief mentor of IV BHMS.
Thereafter
the parents and teachers had an interaction with the concerned subject staff
both in the forenoon and post lunch session.
A
total of 130 parents of 80 students attended the PTS meeting.
The
PTS meeting concluded at 4.30 p.m.
