Women's Day Celebration in Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College
In
view of International Women's Day, the Women
Guidance & Counselling Committee of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical
College has s organized a talk for all teaching and non teaching staff of
Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital on the topic "Inspire & Empower" on 05.03.2020 at 2.30 p.m. in the College Auditorium. Dr Leena K.C., Dean, Yenepoya Nursing
college, Deralakatte, Mangalore was the Resource person.
The
program began with a prayer song led by Mrs.
Nancy Mascarenhas followed by the
welcome address by Dr Deepa Pais. To mark
the event of Women's day celebration - 2020, the administrator along
with other dignitaries joined for cake cutting ceremony. After the cake
cutting, the Administrator honoured the staff's who have completed 25 years
of service in Father Muller Charitable Institutions with a Memento.
Mrs
Monthy Pashan, Mrs Nancy Mascarenhas, Mrs Veena Sequeira, Dr Madona Joseph, Dr
Jacintha Monteiro, Dr Vilma D'Souza and Ms. Gracy Leena Lobo were the honoured
staff. After honouring the staff, Rev.
Fr Roshan Crasta, Administrator, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College
& Hospital gave his message. He highlighted importance of women's role in the
family and in the society.
After
the administrator message, Mrs. Jacintha
Pinto and her team presented a meaningful song which was appreciated by all of us.
Once
the stage programme was over Mrs Veena Sequeira, introduced the Resource
person Dr Leena K.C., Dean, Yenepoya
Nursing College, Deralakatte, Mangalore and she was welcomed by the Principal Dr.
Shivaprasad K with a floral bouquet. The session started with a topic on "Inspire & Empower". It was useful
to all the working women. She encouraged
all women how to be inspired and empowered in the society, family and in our
own way.
This was followed by fun game which was
conducted by Dr Prennie Vidiera and Dr Heleena D'souza to all the staff
members.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Vilma D'Souza.
