Independence Day Celebration 2020
The 74th
Independence Day was celebrated at the College premises on 15.08.2020. Ms
Shilpa and team lead the prayer song invoking God's blessings on all. Dr. Shivaprasad K, Principal, Father Muller
Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, welcomed and introduced the Chief Guest.
Rev. Fr John Baptist Crasta, Chaplain of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical
College and hospital was the Chief Guest.
Mr. George T Ben, invited the Chief Guest to hoist our national flag. After
the flag hoisting ceremony, Rev. Fr J B Crasta addressed the gathering. In his
message, he briefed on the history of our freedom fighters who struggled many
years to get independence from British rule. He also stressed that each and
everyone has to ponder on the real freedom and to strive for a better India
acknowledging the sacrifices of our leaders. On this occasion, Ms Helen and
team sang a song that filled everyone with the emotion of patriotism. Rev. Fr
Roshan Crasta, Administrator, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and
Hospital, Deralakatte, gave the Presidential address and in his speech he
explained the current situation where the whole world is struggling and to have
hope that we can overcome this pandemic as our freedom fighters who saw hope
during their struggles and got independence. Dr. Girish Navada U K, Deputy
Medical Superintendent proposed the vote of thanks. The MC for the event was Ms
Dania P Johnson.
