The Department of
Surgery and Materia Medica jointly organized conJOINT a continuing education
activity from 12.10.2020 to 17.10.2020 in view of World Arthritis Day 2020.
As a part of the programme, a series of events were conducted.
1.
Webinar on "Radiology & Investigations for Joint
Disorders" on 12.10.2020. Dr Vivian Roshan D'Almeida, MBBS, MS(Ortho),
MRCS, MRCS(I), Associate Professor, Department of Orthopedics, Father Muller
Medical College, Mangalore was the resource person.
2.
ePoster competition on the topic "Arthritis and Joint
Disorders" by the department of surgery. Ms Ashmitha Alicia Coth, IV
BHMS won the Ist prize and Dr Ancy George, Postgraduate, Department of
Pediatrics won the IInd prizes.
3.
Department of Homoeopathic Materia Medica, FMHMC organized "HomoeoSECTION",
a week-long competition from October 12-17th 2020 for Interns and
Postgraduates. The competition focused on depicting the homoeopathic aspect of
arthritic conditions.
