THE SEMINAR ON THE 'COMMON STATISTICAL TOOLS FOR DATA ANALYSIS'
A Seminar on the 'Common Statistical Tools for Data Analysis' was conducted on 31.10.2020, Saturday at 2:30 PM in the Lecture Hall II. The resource person was Dr Kurian P J and the target audience were interns and faculty members. A total of 32 interns and 3 faculty members attended this seminar. Interaction and discussion were the part of the seminar which included parametric and non-parametric tests, sample size calculation, and formulating the research hypothesis and other relevant areas in statistics. The resource person emphasized on imparting working knowledge of the above mentioned statistical tools. He stressed on - when to use these statistical tools; how to implement those through web-based software (quickcalc - web-based application in Graphpad website); and how to interpret the results generated by these statistical tools. The seminar ended at 4.00 PM.
