Andolan Campaign Awareness Walkathon programme on COVID 19 - "Appropriate behaviour" from FMHMC campus, Deralakatte to Asaigoli
Junction on 07-11-2020. It is an
initiative by the Ministry of AYUSH,
Govt. of India to emphasize three
key factors that would break the chain of spread. They include wearing a mask,
maintaining social distance and ensuring hand hygiene. The team led by Dr Sajan K R, HOD, Department of
Community Medicine, Dr Sebastian P A,
NSS coordinator, FMHMC, Dr Kashyap Suvarna, Assistant Professor,
Department of Community Medicine, Dr
Jolly D'mello, Assistant Professor, Department of Physiology &
Biochemistry, Dr Hafis Sherief,
Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery, Dr Ashik Mohammed, Assistant Professor, Department of Repertory,
members of NSS and Covid warriors
and Mr Vivek Fernandes, Medical
Social worker participated in the programme. Interns actively participated
in the walkathon by displaying placards and raising slogans to promote the
community to embrace Covid appropriate behaviour.
