RESEARCH FORUM TRAINING SESSION HELD ON 18.03.2021
The Research Forum Training
Session was held on 18.03.2021
at 2.00 PM in lecture hall III at the premises of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte, Mangaluru.
Dr Anita Lobo, Research Forum
Coordinator, welcomed the gathering.The Resource Persons for the first session were
Dr Beena Antony, Professor of Microbiology, FMMC & Division Head of Microbiology,
FMRC and Dr Santhosh Devadiga,
Research Officer, FMRC. They enlightened about the various opportunities to conduct collaborative research in
microbiology & virology. The first session was moderated by Dr Anita Lobo & Dr Vivek Sakthidharan,
Research Forum Coordinators. Dr Kurian P
J, R&D Committee Coordinator, was the Resource Person for the 2nd
session from 03.00 PM to 04.00 PM. He explained and emphasized about 'Converting research questions to a
hypothesis'. He also conducted pre - test and a group activity. In this
group activity, the members experienced the processes of Converting research
questions to a hypothesis. This was attended by 40 participants which included faculty
members, Post graduates & Interns from Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College.
After a brief vote of thanks, the training session concluded at 4.15 PM.
