WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION AT FMHMC
International Women's Day
was celebrated by the Women Guidance
& Counseling Committee of Father
Muller Homoeopathic Medical College on 07.04.2021
at 2.30 p.m. in the Father Muller Auditorium.
Dr Havyashri from the Department of Yoga & Naturopathy
was the Resource person.
The
program began with a prayer song. Dr Amitha
Baliga, H.O.D, Department of Materia Medica & In-charge of the
programme welcomed the gathering. To mark the beginning of the event, cake
cutting was done by the Rev. Fr Roshan
Crasta, Administrator, FMHMC&H, Dr
E S J Prabhu Kiran, Principal, FMHMC, Dr
Madona Joseph, Coordinator, Women Guidance & Counseling Committee, Dr Amitha Baliga, and Dr Havyashree.
As
a token of appreciation, the Administrator Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta honoured the women faculty who completed 25 years
of their service in Father Muller Charitable Institutions. Dr Jyoshna S, Dr Rita Chakraborty, Dr Deena Monteiro, Dr Amitha Baliga,
Mrs Precilla D. D'Souza, Mrs Juliet Veena Crasta, Mrs Sylvia D'Souza, Mrs
Jacintha Pinto and Mrs Lucy Dias
were felicitated with a memento. As an expression
of gratitude, a memento was presented to the Resource person by the
Administrator.
Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta,
Administrator, FMHMC&H gave his message and greeted all the women staff
highlighting the power and importance of women in daily life, their role in the
family as well as in the society. Mrs
Clara D'Souza proposed the vote of thanks.
The formal programme was concluded with the Institution Anthem.
Later
a session on Yoga was conducted by Dr
Havyashri. She explained the
importance of Yoga in the life of every working woman prior to demonstration of
the exercises.
Fun
games were conducted by Dr Anusha in
which all the women participated actively. The winners were honoured with
Prizes by Dr Madona Joseph.
Dr Deepa Rebello
compered the programme. Refreshments
were served to all the gathering.
The
members of the Management Committee were also present for the programme.
