WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION 2022
International Women's Day was celebrated by the Women Guidance & Counseling Committee
of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College on Tuesday, 8th March 2022 at 2.30 p.m. Ms
Preethi N. Physiotherapist, FMHMCH
was the Resource person.
The program began with a
prayer song led by Mrs. Jacintha Pinto
& team. Dr Mini I.V.,
Coordinator, Women Guidance & Counselling Committee welcomed the gathering.
The event began with a symbolic Inauguration by bursting the balloon by the
dignitaries on the dais.
As a token of appreciation,
the Administrator Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta honoured the women faculty who
completed 25 years of their service in Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical
College & Hospital. Dr Anita Lobo and Dr Sheena K.N. were felicitated with
a memento. As an expression of gratitude,
a memento was presented to the Resource person by the Administrator.
Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta,
Administrator, FMHMC&H greeted all the women staff, in his message highlighted
the power and importance of women in daily life, their role in the family as
well as in the society. He concluded the
message with the quote "If your eyes are Positive you will love the world but
if your tongue is positive world will love you". A women is the cement that keeps her family
together and her love lasts a life
time".
Mrs Nancy Mascarenhas proposed the vote of thanks. The formal programme was concluded with the
Institution Anthem.
Later a session on Enhancing the Quality of Life through
Physical Wellness was conducted by Ms
Preethi N., Physiotherapist,
FMHMCH. Dr Nisha C., from Dept of Yoga and Naturopathy
FMHMCH assisted her with the demonstration of few physical activities.
Fun games were conducted
by Dr Deepa Pais, Dr Prennie V. and Mrs Clara D'souza in which all the women
participated actively.
Rev. Fr Rohan Dias, Asst
Administrator - FMHMC&H, Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, Principal, FMHMC, Dr Vilma
D'Souza, Vice Principal, Dr Girish Navada Medical Superintendent FMHMCH and the
members of the Management Committee were also present for the programme.
