Orientation on Research Methodology for Developing Synopsis Proposal
A one day Orientation on
Research Methodology for Developing Synopsis Proposal was organized for the
Post graduate students of MD(Hom) 2021-22 on 23.07.2022. Dr Umashankar S,
Principal, Padmashree School of Public Health and Faulty
of Research Methodology, RGUHS,
Mr M Shashidhar Kotian Professor in Research, Srinivas University, Mukka, Research
director of Allied health science, Physiotherapy and Nursing
and Dr Vivek
Sakthidharan, Associate Professor & Member of Father Muller Institutional
Ethics Committee were the resource persons for the day. The inaugural programme
commenced by lighting of the lamp followed by introduction to the orientation
by Dr Jyoshna S, PG Academic in-charge.
The session began by Dr
Umashankar's presentation on Conducting literature Review as well as Synopsis
writing. This was followed by a presentation on Introduction to Biostatistics
by Mr M Shashidhar Kotian and Significance of ethics for clinical studies by Dr
Vivek.
The Post graduate students had
hands
on experience
on Synopsis presentation in groups this was supervised by the resource
persons. The programme concluded with remarks by the Principal.
Dr Sushikshitha PG scholar
compered the inaugural programme.
