International Women's Day celebration 2023
International
Women's Day was celebrated by the Women Guidance & Counseling
Committee of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College on 08.03.2023. Ms Lakshmi Kunnath Lecturer,
Department of Speech Language Pathology,Father Muller College was
the Resource person.
Mrs Veena
Pinto Member of Women Guidance & Counselling Committee welcomed the
gathering. The event began with a symbolic Inauguration by lighting the lamp.
Rev. Fr
Roshan Crasta, Administrator, FMHMC&H greeted all the women staff, in his
message highlighted the power and importance of women in daily life, their role
in the family as well as in the society.
Dr Madona Joseph proposed
the vote of thanks. The formal programme was concluded with the
Institution Anthem.
Later a
session on 'Digit All - innovation
and technology for gender equality' theme for this year's International
Women's Day was conducted by Ms Lakshmi Kunnath,
Fun games
and activities were conducted by Dr Deepa Pais and Dr Prennie V. in which all
the women employees participated actively.
Dr E S J Prabhu
Kiran, Principal, FMHMC and Dr Vilma D'Souza, Vice Principal, the members of
the Management Committee were also present for the programme.

In
connection with the International Women's Day the Department of OBG, Community
Medicine and N.S.S unit of the college conducted camp on 02.03.2023 at Ullal
Primary health centre and Street play on "VOICE YOUR CHOICE" with a message to
society on Innovation and technology for gender equality at Ullal Primary
health centre and camp, Thokottu Bus stand, Deralakatte Bus stand, Mudipu Bus stand
and FMHMC Hospital.
The Department
of OBG also organized a Talk on the topic "HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS
DIET". and Healthy Cooking competition on 04.03.2023 along with N.S.S unit
Followed by which there was a Flash Mob performance by the Interns and Students
of FMHMC. The hospital also conducted a week long camp Free health check-ups and
investigations on concessional rate in the hospital for women.
