Prayer service
As part of the commencement of
the new academic year a prayer service was conducted on 20.04.2023 in the
College Auditorium, FMHMC for the undergraduate students.
An introduction to the prayer
service was given, followed by welcome address by Dr ESJ Prabhu Kiran,
Principal, FMHMC. The programme began with a prayer song by Ms Anna Johnson and
team. A meaningful prayer service was conducted by Sr Jessin & team. Rev. Fr
John Vas, Chaplain, Coordinator - Spiritual committee, read the Holy Scripture
and advised the students to work hard each day & make use of their time
effectively to achieve their goals. This was followed by prayer of the faithful
by the students and a thanks giving prayer song.
Rev. Fr Roshan, Administrator,
FMHMC&H stressed about maintaining discipline and advised the students
regarding general improvement in behaviour, both in College and hostel. Dr
Vilma Dsouza, Vice Principal, HOD's and staff were also present.
The prayer service concluded with
the vote of thanks by MC, Dr Anita Lobo, Professor & member of the
Spiritual Committee and Institutional Anthem.
The students were then addressed
and given general instructions for the term by Dr Jacintha Monteiro , HOD &
Professor, UG Academic Incharge .
The programme concluded at
11.30am.
