Awareness Program on Environment Day by NSS
NSS unit of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College along
with Netaji Subhaschandra Bose High School organized an Awareness Program on Environment
Day on 17th June 2023.
Dr Deeraj Fernandes briefly explained the importance of NSS and Role
of FMHMC NSS Volunteers in the society.
Ms Ankita Karanik, NSS volunteer from Final BHMS gave a talk on the
Importance of environment day and role
of school children in implementing it. Mr Namith of II BHMS gave a talk on Waste Management and implementing it in the
school campus. Ms Gagana, NSS volunteer from Final BHMS gave a talk on Water Conversation. Ms Pushpitha from III
BHMS conducted Quiz and Pick & Speak competition for the students of 8th,
9th and 10th. Winners were been felicitated with prizes. Street Play on "Encroachment of forest by the humans" led by Mr Bharath,
NSS volunteer was presented with a beautiful message on preservation of forest
and planting trees.
Mrs Nayana, Head Teacher, Class teachers, Mr Sai Venkobha, NSS
Representative and 20 NSS volunteers were present during the session.
Around 330 students from class 8th, 9th
and 10th were benefited with the sessions.
