As a part of the Silver Jubilee celebration of PG course, Department of Homoeopathic Materia Medica conducted an event MATERIALTO'23. There were three main events conducted, namely, ACTION DRAMA CUT- DRUG DRAMA VIDEO COMPETITION, open to all Homoeopathic colleges all over India and TIRA COMICA- COMIC STRIP COMPETITION, in house competition for students of FMHMC and CME session on "Introverted Personalities of Materia Medica" by resource person,Dr Vijay Krishna V, Professor and PG Guide,GHMC Bangalore on 10th December, Sunday, at Father Muller Auditorium, Deralakatte.

The competition prize winners were awarded Cash Prize by the management of FMHMC and separate set of prizes for participants of Action Drama Cut from FMHMC was sponsored by Dr Amitha P Baliga, Head of the Department of Materia Medica and the following are the prize winners for various competitions:

ACTION DRAMA CUT

FIRST PRIZE: Mr. Sakthi and Team from White Memorial Homoeopathic

1. FIRST PRIZE: Mr.Salman and team of Intern batch. Cash prize- Rs 8000
2. SECOND PRIZE: Mr Joe Paul and team of III BHMS.
3. THIRD PRIZE: Ms Bhavadharani and team of IV BHMS.

TIRA COMICA

1. FIRST PRIZE: Ms. Neha S Biradar and Ms. Mayookha P., Intern batch.
2. SECOND PRIZE: Ms S M Kokhila and Ms Vismaya Sunil, IV BHMS
3. THIRD PRIZE : Ms Laura Anderse and Ms Varsha Pradeep, II BHMS & Ms D Shamini Jenifer and Ms Eshwari, I BHMS

CME was conducted on 10th December 2023, Sunday at the Father Muller Auditorium. The Programme began with a prayer song by Ms Anna Johnson and team. The inaugural programme was presided by Rev Fr Ashwin Crasta, Assistant Administrator,FMHMCH & HPD and was joined on the dais by Dr Vijay Krishna V, resource person, Dr ESJ Prabhu Kiran, Principal,FMHMC, Dr Amitha P Baliga, HOD,Dept of MM, Dr Sherlyn Elizabeth Paul,Staff Convenor, Materialto'23 and Dr A Ajay Kumar, PG convenor, Materialto'23.

The session on "Introverted Personalities of Materia Medica" was received and appreciated by all 497 delegates including external delegates from Yenepoya HMC, Alva's HMC, GHMC Bangalore, White Memorial HMC, Kanyakumari and Homoeopathic practitioners in and around Mangalore and faculty, undergraduates and post graduates of FMHMC. Dr Sunny Mathew former HOD, Department of Materia Medica addressed the gathering regarding challenges faced by homoeopath today.

The session concluded with the felicitation of resource person by Assistant Administrator with a memento followed by the Prize distribution of the competitions ACTION DRAMA CUT and TIRA COMICA announced by Dr A Ajay Kumar , along with a lucky draw prizes which were sponsored by Dr Mini I V, Associate Professor, Department of Materia Medica as well.

Materia Medica Postgraduate Alumni were felicitated by the dignitaries and were joined by the two former Heads of the Department, Dr Sunny Mathew and Dr Srinath Rao and the names were

The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
