Repertory Expert Lecture on Approach in Difficult Cases
The Department of Repertory
organized an expert lecture on "Approach in Difficult Cases" for
Repertory Postgraduate scholars on January 17, 2024. Dr Mahindra Pal Singh, B.Sc.,
BHMS, a Senior Physician at Roshan Homoeopathy Clinic, Moradabad, U.P. was the
resource person.
Dr Rita Chakraborty,
Professor and Head of Department of Repertory, delivered the welcome address
and introduced the resource person. Dr Rakhal P, Associate Professor welcomed resource person with a floral
Bouquet.
Dr Singh began session by
providing general instructions for beginners before delving into clinical
practice. He underscored the significance of case screening, guidance on
case-taking, symptom evaluation, and synthesis of rubrics. Additionally, he
recommended specific books for further reading to aid in finalizing the remedy.
The speaker also addressed aspects like potency selection, repetition of doses,
and practical techniques on how to effectively communicate and convince
patients. He encouraged collaboration with other systems of medicine.
During the lecture, Dr.
Singh shared his experiences and presented results on challenging cases,
including vocal cord palsy, nodules, and various dermatological conditions. The
session proved to be highly informative and interactive, allowing postgraduates
to clarify their queries.
Dr Rakhal P, Associate
Professor, Department of Repertory extended a vote of thanks, and Dr Rita
Chakraborty, Professor and Head of Department of Repertory, presented a memento
to the speaker, adding a memorable touch to the conclusion of the event.
