Visit to Milk Diary 2024
Final year students visited the Dakshina Kannada Co-Operative Milk
Producers' Union Limited, Kulshekar on 23rd February 2024. Students were accompanied by the
faculty of Community Medicine department Dr Sajan K R & Dr Kashyap Suvarna.
Mrs
Bhavana, in-charge of the dairy gave brief introduction and explained about the
different components of milk and the fat percentage of each product, method of
collection of milk, pasteurization, skimming, tinning and packing the products.
There was an interactive session at the end of the visit.
