PARTICIPATION IN WALKATHON TOWARDS SUICIDE PREVENTION

NGO Life line on 10.09.2018 (World Suicide Prevention Day) with Dr Girish
Navada U. K, Dr Diana R, Dr Justina M Steefan, Dr Manu Manjith S, Dr Summaya
Nousheen, Interns- Mr Athul, Mr Arjun, Mr Arun as a part of walkathon for the
cause suicide prevention ‘Walk for life’.
The journey
started at 6:20am from Deralakatte and reached St Aloysious college gate at 6:
45am. The team participated in the Placard competition and the Walkathon which
was flagged off by the District Commissioner Mr Sasikanth Senthil IPS started
at 7:20 am to Nehru maidan and reached there at 8:00am. After that there was a
formal function organized by the organization Life line. Around 300 people from
different colleges and organizations took part in the walkathon. The team
reached back to college at 10:00am.
