MD(Hom) Course Inauguration 2018-19

The inaugural ceremony of the 21st Batch of M.D(Hom) Course for the academic year 2018-19 was held on 20th October 2018 at PG Seminar Hall.

The inaugural programme of the course began with a Prayer song. Dr Shivaprasad K Principal welcomed the gathering. The Course was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries along with student’ representative of the new batch. This was followed by a short self introduction by new students and welcome by the seniors with a rose.

 Rev Fr Vincent Saldanha in his message highlighted the purpose of Post Graduate and research oriented studies. He also urged the students to be committed towards the profession and to come out as dedicated doctors to serve the humanity.

Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions presided over the programme. At the outset he congratulated the students and motivated them to work hard and to sharpen their clinical skills. He mentioned to make use of the facilities and the infrastructure made available in the institution. He also stressed about the duties of a physician. 


Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, Vice Principal proposed the vote of thanks.


Rev Fr Sylvester Lobo, Assistant Administrator, Rev Fr Peter Noronha and the faculty members were present for the programme.


Dr Sowmya A. compered the programme.


The programme concluded with the Institution anthem.
