Annual retreat of two days was conducted on 08.12.2018 and 09.12.2018 to the christian students of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College at St Lourds Chapel at Deralakatte campus. Rev Fr Anil Fernandes SVD and their team preached retreat for students. Students were motivated spiritually to reflect on their life.

The Value Education Programme – EVOLVE, for Non Christian students of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College was held on 08.12.2018. The programme started at 9.00 am. The programme commenced with the Prayer song. Dr ESJ PrabhuKiran, Vice Principal, Faather Muller Homoeopathic Medical College welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr Vincent Saldanha, Administrator gave the Introduction to the Value Education.

The Speaker for the first session was Rev FrArun Lobo, Director, ShantiKiranCounselling Centre. He was introduced by Dr Rita Chakraborty, HOD of Repertory. Rev Fr highlighted “The relation between present society and youth psychology and how to deal with it.”

The second session was conducted by Dr Caroline P D’Souza, Psychiatric consultant at Falnir Health Care Centre, who was introduced by Dr PrennieVidiera, Asst Professor, Department of Pharmacy, in her session she highlighted “on Stress management and Self Management.”

The speaker of the third session was Dr Alwyn D’Sa, Professor, St Aloysius College. He was introduced by Dr Jolly D’Mello. He highlighted on “The duty of being a caring, respectful profession.”

The Vote of thanks was given by Dr Sajan K R, HOD, Community Medicine. The programme was compered by Ms Joanna Irwin. All the students actively participated in the value education programme. Interactive talks given by resource persons motivated the students

The programme concluded with the Institution anthem by 4.15pm.
