PRAYAG-2K18 - Sports Day
Sports and games event,
PRAYAG-2K18 was inaugurated on 01st
of December 2018 at the college ground, Deralakatte.
The programme commenced
at 9.00 am by invoking the blessing of the prayer song. Mr. Nandan Krishna, President
student council FMHMC extended a warm welcome to the gathering and introduced
the Chief Guest, Mr. Roshan Ferrao International body builder. FMHMC
Administrator Rev. Fr Vincent Vinod Saldanha, FMHMC Asst. Administrator Rev. Fr
Sylvester V Lobo, Principal Dr. Shivaprasad K, vice principal Dr. ESJ Prabhu
Kiran, Sports Coordinator Dr. Sajan K R, Mr. Tejas A Sport’s secretary and Mr.
Chennakeshava M G Physical Education Instructor was among the dignitaries on
the dais.
Programme started as
introduced the dignitaries on their arrival. Parade of the athletes, which was
followed by the release of the balloons and hosting of the institutional flag.
4000mt Race Walk for
boys and 2000mt Race Walk for the girls were representing their houses
participated. More than 12 events are each category Athletes representing their
houses and staff and non teaching staff participated. Finally ended with Tug of War.
The valedictory
function at 4.00 pm by invoking Sports Coordinator Dr. Sajan K R extended a
warm welcome to the FMHMC Administrator Rev. Fr Vincent Vinod Saldanha and
Asst. Administrator Rev. Fr Sylvester V Lobo was among the dignitaries on the
dais.
Dr.Tom Alexander the
best athlete male, Ms. Aleena Thomas the best athlete female and finally
declared team RED KENTS to be the
Overall Champions of the PRAYAG-2K18
and ORANGE ALLENS & GREEN HERINGS in the second position.
