THE GENERAL MEDICAL CAMP CONDUCTED IN FAJIR
A
general medical camp was conducted by FMHMC in Fajir Church Hall on 13/10/2019.
The camp was jointly organized by Medical Unit II, Community Department of
FMHMC and the Organizing committee of Our Lady of Mercy Church, Fajir.
Inaugural
function was followed by Health Awareness talk in Konkani which was given by
Dr. (Sr) Mable. Mr. Vivek Fernandes, Medical Social Worker also addressed the
gathering by giving general awareness regarding Homoeopathic System of Medicine
in general and the Health Card Scheme started by FMHMC.
The
camp was attended by Dr. Dolphin Karat, Professor, Dept of Medicine, FMHMC
(Team Leader) and Dr Sooraj, Asst. Professor, Dept of Medicine, FMHMC and by
PGs & Interns. The team rendered their services to 175 patients who
attended the camp. Among these patients, 113 of them availed the facility of
free blood tests. 140 patients availed the Health Card facility. All the
patients who attended the camp and in need of continuation of treatment were
referred to FMHMC OPD, Derlakatte for
future consultation. The camp concluded
at 1.00pm.
