Inauguration of Bovikana Health Center & General Medical Camp
A
General Medical Camp and Inauguration of Health Center was organized in
collaboration with CODP & Catholic Sabha Bovikanam at Risen Savior Church,
Bovikanam on 10th December 2023.
The
program commenced with a prayer song. Ms Renita extended a warm welcome to all
the dignitaries.
The camp was formally inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais, including Rev. Fr Stany, Parish Priest of Risen Saviour Church, Bovikkanam, Rev. Fr. Roshan Crasta, Administrator, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Dr Ancy George, Assistant Professor, Department of Paediatrics, the Team Leader.
Rev.
Fr Stany, delivered a message emphasizing the importance of a General Health
Checkup and about Homeopathy system of Medicine.
Dr
Ancy George, team leader of the camp spoke about importance of Homeopathy
system of medicine, how does it work. She also highlighted the facilities available
in Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College Hospital, Deralakatte.
The program continued with patient registration and general health check-ups. Free medicines were provided to patients during the camp for duration of two weeks. Follow- ups were referred to the Bovikana Health Center will work on 1st and third Saturday of every month.
A
total of 55 patients benefited from this camp.
