A Free Medical Health Camp and Awareness Program at Dharmanagara
In view of Breast Feeding Awareness Week, a Free Medical Health Camp and awareness program was organized at Anganwadi Kendra, Dharmanagara, Ullal on the 06.08.2022.
The camp commenced at 10.30am. The team consisted of Dr Jyoshna Shivaprasad HOD of paediatric), paediatric Post graduate scholars: Dr Gayathri, Dr Shreyank Kotian, Dr Javeriabanu J J, Dr Edalissa Kharraswai and 3 interns along with Dr Sahana AYUSH Medical Officer, District AYUSH Hospital, Ullal. The camp was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Dr Jyoshna Shivaprasad, Dr Sahana, Village Counselor and Mrs Shakheela, Teacher, Anganawadi kendra. Dr Gayathri PG scholar delivered an awareness talk on "Breast feeding-Benefits and contraindications".
A total of 59 patients availed the facilities of the camp. Free patent products from Father Muller Homeopathic Pharmaceutical Division were distribute to 31 patients as per their ailments. The camp concluded at 2p.m.
