Medical Camp & Awareness Programme at Fajir Church

In view of World Arthritis Day & Osteoporosis Day 2022, the Department of Surgery and Materia Medica jointly organized a Homoeopathic health camp and awareness programme in the 'Our Lady of Mercy Church', Fajir on 06.11.2022 between 08.30 AM & 12.30PM.

 

The camp was organized for the parishioners and the public in and around Fajir.

A formal inauguration was held in the Parish Hall of the Church in the presence of Rev. Fr Anil Joel D'Souza, Parish Mr Daniel Dsouza - Coordinator of Commission for Health, Dr Nishal Preemal Dsouza, Dr K John Paul, Dr Hafis Sherief and Dr Sherlyn Elizabeth Paul. Ms Chrisel Jenicia Dsa gave an awareness talk about Homoeopathy and explained the IPD, specialty, OPD, palliative treatment facilities available to the gathered. Health card was distributed at 50% concessional rate.

 

Free consultation and homoeopathic treatment was provided to the visitors of the camp. A total of 120 patients were benefitted from this camp.

 

The faculty comprising Dr K John Paul, Dr Hafis Sherief, Dr Sherlyn Elizabeth Paul and Dr Nishal Preemal Dsouza conducted the screening and consultation of the patients.

 

Interns & Postgraduates assisted in registration, screening, physical examinations and dispensing of the medicines. Also a stall containing the various homoeopathic products were made available at concessional rates. All the patients were informed about 50% concession on IPD admissions, Physiotherapy, Yoga & Naturopathy and blood investigations
