One day training programme for anganawady ,Streeshakthy and ASHA workers was conducted in Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical Colllege and Hospital Deralakatte, Mangaluru in collaboration with women and child welfare department Rural Mangaluru on 13/02/2019.The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Rev Fr Vincent Saldanha, administrator Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital was the chief guest of the programme. Kumari Shyamala.C.K.Child Development project officer rural Mangaluru welcomed the gathering .Srimathy Bharathy Ragava Gatty, vice president of Kotekar Town panchayath gave the presidential address. Dr Shivaprasad K principal of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical Colllege, Dr jyoshna Shivaprasad HOD of pediatrics, Dr vilma D’souza HOD of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr Sajan K R HOD of Community medicine were present during the inauguration session.

Advocate Mrs Gowri K S enlightened the group about the laws in women rights and highlighted the topic “Beti Bachao Beti Padao”.

Dr Jyoshna Shivaprasad HOD of paediatris was the resourse person for the topic “Pre sex determination and feticide”

Dr vilma D’souza HOD of obstetrics and gynecology gave the awareness talk on “female related cancer and its investigation methods”.

Around 275 women participated in this programme. Anganawady supervisor Mrs Sharada compered the programme and the programme ended with the vote of thanks by Mrs Shankari, Anganawady supervisor.
