STEP UP 2024 - PTSA committee meeting
The PTSA committee of Father Muller
Homoeopathic Medical College conducted "STEP UP" Programme for I BHMS
and III BHMS on 28.09.2024.
The main objective of this "STEP UP" PTSA
programme is to have an interaction with parent, student and teacher so as to
know the academic and personal development of the student. The programme
commenced at 10:00 am on both the days with the prayer song and formal
inauguration by lighting the lamp. The coordinator of PTSA committee Dr Deena
Monteiro welcomed the gathering.
UG Program Coordinator Dr Amitha Baliga gave a brief
report of the academic and co curricular activities along with achievers in
university examinations.
Principal Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran highlighted the
importance of having PTSA meeting. He also briefed about CBDC pattern of
syllabus and numerous research avenues the institution provides for an overall
development of the students.
Dr Vilma M Dsouza, Vice Principal, moderated an
interactive session with parents and management, where the points of discipline,
safety and quality skill based education was well appreciated by the parents.
Rev Fr Faustine L Lobo, Designate Director, FMCI and
Administrator, FMHMC appreciated the parents for attending the PTSA meeting and
congratulated the students for securing ranks at RGUHS examinations.
Dr Jolly D'Mello, Chief mentor, I BHMS proposed the
vote of thanks.
The formal inaugural programme concluded with the
Institution anthem. This was followed by the departmental interactions.
From the I BHMS total of 40 students and from III BHMS
total of 30 students with the parents reported.
