Prayer Service
A prayer Service was arranged
by the Spiritual Committee for the new academic year 2024-25 for II BHMS
students on Tuesday, 8th July 2024 at 11:00 am in the College
Auditorium.
All students and faculty
members attended the same. Dr E.S.J. Prabhu Kiran, Principal, in his welcome
address, emphasized that since students will have clinical exposure in OPD this
year, they must be sensitive and sensible when dealing with the patients.
The prayer service began with
a prayer song by the second year BHMS students. Rev.Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo,
Designate Director, FMCI and Administrator, FMHMCH, then read a passage from
the Bible. Reflecting on the scripture, he stressed upon the importance of
understanding the difference between knowledge and wisdom, wisdom being more
important in dealing with life situations.
This was followed with a
prayer by the spiritual committee members and students. The concluding prayer
was recited by Dr Anita Lobo, Professor, Department of Repertory followed by a
thanksgiving prayer song by the students.
Rev. Fr Faustine Lobo,
Spiritual Committee Co-ordinator, in his message to the students, said that we
must have empathy for the patients and be sensible too.
The vote of thanks was given
by the M.C, Sophia Sunil.
The prayer service concluded
at 12 p.m. with the institution anthem.
