'GURUVANDHANA' - Teachers Day 2024
'GURUVANDHANA' to honor the teacher & express the
gratitude, Teachers Day was celebrated on 30.09.2024.
The programme commenced by a melodious
prayer song by Ms Nile & team
followed by graceful prayer dance by Ms Srikanya & team.
Mr Akhil Monteiro, President,
Students' Council, welcomed the gathering & stated the significance of
celebrating teachers' day on 30.09.2024 as it coincides
with Feast of Saint Jerome
Rev. Fr Faustine L. Lobo, Designate Director, FMCI &
Administrator, FMHMC, in his message spoke about the influence of teachers in his life & addressed the students
about significance of teachers in their life. He told the students to
respect the teachers with sincerity & gratitude.
As a token of honor & gratitude
the students' council members offered Gurudakshina to the Teachers on behalf of
all the students.
Dr Sheena K. N, HOD, Department
of Pathology & Microbiology, in her message spoke about the significance of
celebrating teachers day. She spoke about the transition between pre-covid
& post-covid teaching & she appreciated all the teachers for their
efforts during this phase.
A short cultural programme was
held by UG's & PG's. Games
for teachers were organized to animate the occasion.
Dr Krishna Kiran Bhatt, Post Graduate, proposed the vote of
thanks
Mr Pranava & Ms Lahi compered the programe.
