Observance of World No Tobacco Day
Department of Mental Health Nursing, FMCON observed
the World No Tobacco Day on 31st May 2017 and 1st
June 2017. A quiz competition for the staff nurses of Father Muller Mental
Health Centre and students of Father Muller College of Nursing was conducted
and winners were awarded.
As a part of the Day, 3rd year BSc Nursing students
displayed posters in the OPD on the
theme ‘Tobacco : A threat to development’.
A health talk was organised for the patients and
family members of Father Muller Mental Health Centre on the theme in Kannada
and Malayalam by Mr S K Shripathi Bhat,
Counsellor, De-addiction ward and Mr Rajeeve Mathew, Lecturer, Department of
Mental health Nursing.
