STUDENT COUNCIL 2024-25 INAUGURATION OF FATHER MULLER COLLEGE

The inauguration of the student council of Father Muller College of Speech and Hearing was held on 28 August 2024 at The Father Muller's Decennial Memorial Hall. The program opened by invoking the blessings of the Almighty through a prayer song by our students.

 The President of the program Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, the Director of FMCI, the Chief Guest, Dr. B. Sanjeev Rai Former Chief of Research, Senior Scientist, Emeritus, Father Mullers Research Centre and the other dignitaries Rev. Fr Ajith B. Menezes, Administrator of FMMC, ASH, FMCOP, , Dr. Antony Sylvan D'souza , Dean of FMMC were escorted by Ms Cynthia Santhmayor our Principal of Speech and Hearing on to the dias.

Then the student council members made their way to the hall and took their seats.Mrs. Susmitha CG, the coordinator of the student council gave a warm welcome to everyone present there and the program continued with the lighting of the lamp, the Indian way to start a good beginning, the lamp was lit by the dignitaries, our principal and the student council president.

Then the student council members were given sash and badges for their respective positions by the chief guest, the president of the program, and our principal. This was followed by oath taking ceremony for the student council led by our principal.

The motto of our institution is 'Heal and Comfort' which we keep reminding ourselves with the institutional anthem every program. Then our chief guest Dr. B. Sanjeev Rai addressed us with an inspirational speech, he captivated the audience with his humour and gave the students words of inspiration.

Following the inspirational speech, our Director , Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho , the President for the program gave an empowering speech and congratulated all the student council members.

The program came to an end with a vote of thanks by the president of student council followed by the national anthem.
