Observance of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2017
The
Department of Mental Health Nursing, FMCON observed the International
Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 20th June
2017. A health talk in Kannada was organised for the High School Children of
Padua High School on the theme— “Listen First†with regard to the observance
of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking by Mr S
K Shripathi Bhat, Counsellor, De-addiction ward.
A
health talk on Gender Education for
both Boys and Girls also was given by Mr S K Shripathi Bhat, Counsellor,
De-addiction ward and Ms Saritha Pereira, Lecturer/ANS, Department of Mental Health
Nursing respectively.
As
a part of the day, 3rd year BSc Nursing students organised a Role play on the
theme — “Listen firstâ€.
The
program was coordinated by Department of Mental Health Nursing under the
guidance of Prof Agnes E J, HOD, Department of Mental Health Nursing, FMCON.
