Report On ‘Nutrition, Health and Fitness- Expo 2018’
‘Go
forward with food’ a nutrition health and fitness expo 2018, was organized by
the Father Muller College of Nursing, on 5/5/2018 at FMCI Campus premises, opposite
OPD. The Health expo was inaugurated by the chief guest Prof Sanjana M Shenoy, consultant
Dietician, Nutri health, by a traditional opening of ‘palm Jaggery,’ which
symbolises goodness and auspicious
beginning and is highly valued due to medicinal properties and nutritive value.
President
Rev. Fr Richard Coelho, the Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions,
remembered the age old proverb “uta ballvanige rogavilla, mathu ballavanige
jagalavilla†and the olden eating food stuff, which reminded the healthier
habits of eating.

Sr Jacintha welcomed the gathering. Sr Deepa Peter, the Convener introduced the
chief guest. Mrs. Shiji P.J proposed the vote of thanks.
