REPORT ON GROUP HEALTH EDUCATION & NUTRITIONAL PREPARATION PROGRAMME
As a part of extension activity, the
department of Community Health Nursing along with group of 4th year B.Sc
nursing students organized a group health education on the topic “DIABETES
MELLITUS†on 17th May 2018 at Mrs. Isamma’s residence, Krishnapura. Students
performed a role play followed by a talk on Diabetes Mellitus, and its prevention.
Students also exhibited the diabetic diet to the group. They
demonstrated preparation of Drumstick leaves Chutney, Chapathi stuffed with
mixed vegetables, sprouted green gram salad and buttermilk. There were 13 participants
for this programme.
