Educative Session on Road Safety & First Aid Â
The
department of Child Health Nursing of Father Muller College of Nursing
conducted an educative session on the topic "ROAD SAFETY & FIRST
AID" on 17/01/2019 at St. Joseph Higher Primary School, Bajal. An
informational skit depicting the traffic rules and road safety was enacted by
the 3rd year B.Sc Nursing students. The program stressed on the
current policies and theme of Road safety week. In order to provide hands on
training of first aid, 4 counters were arranged and different bandaging
techniques were taught to the students. The effectiveness of health education
program was evaluated by conducting a short quiz to the group. Around 107 students
of the school participated in the program.
