GENERAL HEALTH CHECKUP CAMP
A one-day general health checkup camp was
organized at - ST. JOSEPH CATHEDRAL, NAIDU STREET, K.M ROAD, CHIKMAGALURUon
Sunday 14-05-2023 between 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. MalnaduKraistharaAbhivradhi Sanga
in collaboration with Father Muller Medical College Hospital jointly arranged a
general free health check-up camp.
Our camp team comprised doctors from departments of General Medicine, Dermatology, Surgery, OBG, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Speech & Hearing along with hospital laboratory and nursing personnel.
A total of 350 people attended the camp to avail use of the many services available. A total of 14 people benefited from speech and hearing services (12 audiology patients and 2 voice disorder patients).Speech and hearing professionals in attendance were Ms. Jovita Priya Tauro(Assistant Professor) and Ms. FrannieLamita Fernandes(Speech-language pathologist Grade I). Each patient received a case history, otoscopic assessment, and screening audiometry.Those who did not pass the hearing screening received referrals via a camp referral card and were counselled to administer detailed diagnostic testing at Father Muller Medical Hospital at concessional rates.
