GENERAL HEALTH CHECKUP CAMP
A
one-day general health check up camp was organized at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CHURCH
HALL PREMISES FERAR, KINNIKAMBLA on Sunday 11-06-2023 between 9.00 am to 12.00
pm. Father Muller Medical College Hospital in collaboration with Swasahayasanga
Dharmasthala, Catholic Sabha Ferrar Church and KonkanCatholic.com jointly
arranged a general free health check up camp.
Our
camp team comprised doctors from departments of General Medicine, Dermatology,
Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Speech & Hearing, and ECG technicians along
with hospital laboratory and nursing personnel.
A total of 150 people attended the camp to avail use of the many services available. A total of 11 people benefited from speech and hearing services. Speech and Hearing professionals in attendance were Dr. Shreyank P Swamy (Associate Professor) and Ms. Sushmitha U J (Speech-language pathologist Grade I). Each patient received a case history, otoscopic assessment, and screening audiometry.Those who did not pass the hearing screening received referrals via a camp referral card and were counselled to administer diagnostic testing at Father Muller Medical Hospital at concessional rates.
