'Attam' - Onam Celebration 2024
'ATTAM' marking the Onam festival and the
legendary homecoming of King Mahabali, who symbolizes good governance in Kerala
was celebrated in the college on 27.09.2024.
The event featured a vibrant Pookalam, a floral
carpet created by students, displayed at the college entrance, adding to the
festive spirit.
A highlight of the celebration was the Onam Sadya, a
traditional feast served to all students, teaching, and non-teaching staff,
blessed by Rev. Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo, the Designate Director of FMCI and
Administrator FMHMC&H.
To enhance the festivities, teachers
performed Thiruvathira,
one of Kerala's oldest traditional dance forms, captivating the audience with
its beauty and cultural significance.
A vibrant cultural program was
organized, featuring a lively entry of Maveli, which added to the celebratory
atmosphere to further enhance the festive spirit, were held in the college
premises, energizing the gathering and fostering camaraderie among attendees.
The event was expertly compered by Ms.
Kadambari and Ms. Devisree, who guided the proceedings with eloquence and
grace.
