AVESHAM - Annual Athletic Meet 2023-24
The Annual Sports Meet - AVESHAM 2023-24
was held on 10.02.2024. Event was graced by prominent dignitaries Dr Ramesh H N,
Assistant Director of the Department of Physical Education, served as the Chief
Guest. Other notable attendees included Rev Fr. Roshan Crasta, Administrator;
Rev Fr. Ashwin Crasta, Assistant Administrator; Dr. Vilma D'Souza, Vice
Principal; Mr. Girish Navada, Medical Superintendent, Dr Deeraj Fernandes and
Dr. Jeeno Jose, Sports Coordinator for 2024-25.
The inauguration program commenced with a prayer song followed by a welcome speech by Dr Deeraj Fernandes, Sports Coordinator for 2023-24. All four houses participated in the march past, led by their respective house captains. The Chief Guest and other dignitaries received a guard of honor.
Chief guest Dr. Ramesh HN in his address urged students to engage in at least one sports event daily and congratulated the institution for prioritizing sports activities.
Rev Fr. Roshan Crasta encouraged students to maintain sportsmanship throughout the meet.
Mr Allen Jinson, Sports Secretary, led the athletes in pledging the oath.
The
program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr Deron Maben followed by the
institutional anthem.
